About Us

The Ludford Parts Group consists of 4 companies - Ludford Parts in Ludlow, founded in 1984, Apex Motor Parts in Hereford, founded in 2002 and Newtown Motor Parts in Newtown, founded in 2007 and now Rheidol Motor Parts, founded in 2015. So you can see that we are continually growing. We are truly a family business, currently employing three generations, in all, six members of the family.

The four businesses have combined warehouse space of 15,400 square feet (9000 in Ludlow), all of which are crammed with parts, lubricants and tyres to fit a wide range of vehicles. We also stock welding and aircon gases.

Our vehicle fleet consists of 25 vans which enable us to deliver to our garage customers over a wide area, extending from Ledbury in the east, to the Welsh coast in the west and from Church Stretton in the north to Ross on Wye in the south.

We are obsessed with quality and go to extreme lengths to ensure that the parts we source are fit for purpose, consequently, most of our suppliers are market leading brands, giving our garage customers the peace of mind that the parts we supply conform to the highest safety standards.

We are shareholders in the IFA (Independent Factors Association), which is the largest (by spend) of all the UK motor parts trading associations. This gives us the ability to compete with all comers and we will not be beaten on price on parts of similar quality.

Finally, we have invested in the most advanced computer technology, which enables us to extend VRM look up facilities and garage management systems to our customers.

If you add all these things together, we believe we offer the most complete package available to garages locally, we are competitive, flexible and efficient, and our management is accessible to our customers at all times.
